PROBLEM:
I installed Crystal Reports XI Professional Edition and the Connectivity Kit but when trying to run the reports from Order sample, I get the following error:

Could not connect to the Crystal RDC Application Object.
Crystal Reports is probably not installed on this computer. The Crystal Report samples cannot be run if Crystal Reports is not installed.

What is missing?

SOLUTION:
You need Crystal Reports Developer Edition in order to have all the RDC components available on your machine for Visual DataFlex. Those components are also available when using Crystal merge modules, but you will need a Developer Edition copy of Crystal in order to be able to distribute them.

Also, make sure you don't have old versions of Crystal components being found before the ones from the current version are.
